Originally from China, Danny Jian is Creative Director at Essen International, a design agency founded in 1980, with offices in San Francisco and Stockholm.
Danny has his signature on plenty of Essen International’s most celebrated work for various national and international clients, ranging from packaging design of professional photographic equipment Profoto and world renowned chef Mathias Dahlgren, to rebranding of international lifestyle brand Gant and Everest.
Danny's work has been recognized by major industry organizations, he was awarded Gold in the design category of Young Lions Sweden, Silver in the design category of Young Lions Cannes, Bronze in Eurobest, and Bronze in Rebrand 100 Global Awards. His works has been featured in a wide range of prominent sites and publications: Computer Arts, Communication Arts, Creative Review, Icon, Page, The Dieline, Wired to name a few.
